Milivoy I Samurovich

Milvoy I. Samurovich, born on October 14, 1934, in Belgrade, Serbia, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2024, in New York, NY, at the age of 89. He was the beloved son of Miroslav and Magdelena Samurovich.

Milvoy’s passion for music led him to the United States, where he pursued higher education at the prestigious Juilliard School. He graduated with a Master’s degree, a testament to his dedication and talent in the arts.

Though Milvoy's professional life took a different path, his creativity and determination never waned. He built a successful career as an insurance broker, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients alike.

Milvoy was a devoted husband to the late Christine Samurovich, with whom he shared many wonderful years. Together, they raised four children: Elizabeth Samurovich, Audrey Ellis, Gregory Samurovich, Theodore Samurovich (predeceased). His family was the center of his world, and he took immense pride in his role as a father and grandfather.

Milvoy’s legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Emma Ellis, Jennifer Ellis, Theodore Samurovich, and Lily Samurovich. He will be remembered for his wisdom, kindness, and the love he gave to those around him.
