Myrna Phaire

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Myrna Elizabeth Phaire, a warm and loving soul, on July 28, 2025. Born on July 15, 1936, in New York, NY, Myrna lived a cherished life spanning 89 remarkable years.

She lived in Manhattan until the last five years when she relocated to the nursing facility in the Bronx. She was known for her beloved and compassionate nature. Myrna touched the lives of those around her with her warmth and caring personality. Her deep love for art and the opera was well-known to friends and family alike.

Myrna was the loving daughter of Cecil Phaire and Sevilla (Nee Olsen). She cherished her family and friends, creating countless treasured memories over the years.

A memorial service in remembrance of Myrna will be held at Walter B. Cooke Funeral Home, located at 352 East 87th Street, New York, NY, 10128, on August 7, 2025. The service will take place from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.

Myrna Phaire will be greatly missed, and her legacy of kindness and artistry will live on in the hearts of those who were truly touched by her presence.
