Nancy grew up in Cambria City and Johnstown, PA. She was just 5 years old during the great Johnstown flood. Nancy followed her older brother, Donald, to New York City as a young woman. She fell in love with the city and stayed there until her passing. Nancy loved her co-op apartment where she resided for decades and Manhattan became Nancy’s backyard.
Nancy worked for decades as the executive assistant to Mr. Bill Bernbach of Doyle, Dane & Bernbach advertising agency. She loved her career and retired at the age of 80.
Nancy is survived by her nephews and nieces, Deborah of Delaware, Davide of New Jersey, Leslie of California and Donald Jr. of Florida. She will be missed by her aide of four and a half years, Andrea Clarke.
Nancy will be laid to rest at St. Theresa Mausoleum at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood, 111 Old Country Road, Old Westbury, NY on Wednesday, November 26th at 11am.
