

Natalie was formerly a resident of Brooklyn NY, Tenafly New Jersey and Manhattan. She moved to Baton Rouge to be closer to her daughter and her family. She will be missed by her daughter Barbara Zellmer (Terry) and their two children Lane and Marisa (partner Christopher O'Brien.) She will also be dearly missed by her brother Bennet Silverman (Linda) and their children and their families. Natalie was a graduate of NYU as well as Columbia University where she received her Master's Degree in Art History. Natalie was a lifelong active community volunteer. Her most notable commitments were to the Nature Conservancy, the League of Women Voters as well as the American Jewish Committee. Her most recent contributions were to the outdoor sculpture committee preserving many works of art in the Baton Rouge area as well as with the LSU Museum of Art where she served as a board member as well as on the Acquisitions Committee. Donations to honor her memory can be made to the LSU Museum of Art.
