I am very moved to hear the stories from the students Paul helped.
Thank you, Paul, for your generosity to Colgate University and Colby College.

I am proud to have been a friend of Paul's since we first met in 1978, when he interviewed me at Escola Americana do Rio de Janeiro and almost single-handedly convinced me to attend Colgate University. I can safely affirm that he changed my life by setting me on the right course! An example of selflessness and generosity, Paul helped countless lives by sharing his deep love and knowledge of art and history with all those he touched, while ensuring that his legacy would endure through his many philanthropic contributions to education at both Colgate U. and Colby College. I miss Paul already, but also take solace knowing that he is now resting in peace, and shining his warm smile down on all of us from the heavens. Godspeed, my friend!

Paul helped me get into Colgate, he helped me when I was there and we had a continued friendship for some 39 years. His generosity to Colby and Colgate was seemingly limitless and his generosity with his time to those who sought it was equally abundant. I am deeply saddened by his passing, But I feel blessed I managed to see him recently and tell him personally how much I appreciated his time and guidance through the years. RIP meu Amigo.
