Paul Tanners passed away peacefully on November 25, 2018. Paul, 80, was beloved husband to Phebe, adoring father to Jonathan and his fiancée Jenny Shaughnessy, loving brother to Henry (deceased), Sandy, and uncle to Lisa and Adam, and a generous cousin. His love and devotion to his family knew no bounds. As a dentist, he was an artist and a scholar, endlessly dedicated to his craft, ceaseless in his efforts to make his patients comfortable and confident in their smiles. He was a tremendous mentor and loyal friend to many, always ready with a word of advice or a joke. His humor and huge heart will be missed. Service Tuesday, November 27, 11AM at Riverside Chapel, 76th and Amsterdam, NYC.
Shiva will be observed at the Tanners family apartment on November 28 from 4-8pm, November 29 from 4-8pm, and November 30 from 2pm until sundown.
