Pearl Ellen Pell (nee Seril), 68, of New York City, died peacefully on July 17, 2023 after courageously battling cancer over the past year. She is survived by Owen, her devoted husband of 35 years, beloved sons Nathan and Adam, and adored big sister Barbara Seril, all of New York City, and her cherished cousins Helene Bergman (Kenny), Andrew Klinger (Maria Duha), Michael Hinden (Betsy Draine), David Hinden (Lucie), Linda Hecker (Bob), Judith Solomon (Alex) and Ann Heller, and cherished nieces Sheryl Carp (Ken McIntyre) and Laura Rosenblatt. Pearl was pre-deceased by her beloved older sister Zena Carp. Pearl’s love of family, intelligence, humor, valor, good works, energy, and zest for life were apparent to all who knew her. Her family and many friends will miss her deeply, remember her with great love and affection, and cherish the way she touched and enriched their lives. Her memory will be a blessing for all of us.
