Perlita dedicated her life to nursing, ultimately rising to the esteemed position of Head Nurse of the Intensive Care Unit at Lenox Hill. Her tireless efforts and exceptional care left an indelible mark on the hospital and the countless patients she served over the years.
Born to Francisco and Ester Abbago, Perlita was the beloved daughter in a family of seven siblings. She is survived by her sister Lydia and brother Andy, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and bonds that transcended the trials of time.
Perlita's legacy is one of selflessness, kindness, and dedication to the well-being of others. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond the walls of the ICU, impacting everyone fortunate enough to know her.
