Peter Joseph Burke

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on December 23, 2017 of Peter Joseph Burke. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Burke Murphy and Martin Murphy, his niece Bridget Murphy Morgan and her husband,Joseph, nephew, Martin Patrick Murphy and his wife Anne, great nephew, Colm Martin Morgan, great nieces, Erin Lily Morgan, Riley Rose Morgan, and Abigail Rose Murphy.

Peter lived his life in the Yorkville neighborhood of Manhattan. He attended St. Ignatius Loyola School, Xavier High School and received his Bachelor's and Masters' Degrees from Fordham University. He spent a life caring for others and leaves a legacy of love and generosity that will continue to live in the hearts of all whose lives he touched.

He will be laid to rest next to his mother and father, uncle and niece at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, New Jersey.
