I had the pleasure of working with Dr Felig, when he first opened his new office practice at 1056 5th Ave. Dr Felig was always  very kind and cared deeply for his patients. I was his Medical assistant for approximately 2+ years. I had the pleasure of getting to know his lovely wife, Florence. I'm just finding out that Dr Felig passed Away. He will always be remembered. I always thought of him and his kindness well beyond my working for him. My deepest, belated condolences to his wife and family. 

I have learned now that Dc Felig has passed away .
In 2000 I was so lucky to meet Doctor Felig because of my addison Desease and he literally saved my life .
Doctor Felig  was an amazing doctor that really care for his patients .
I will never forget him .

I just learned of Dr Felig’s passing.  I am devastated.  He was a brilliant doctor; kind and compassionate.  I always enjoyed my appointments with him - he talked with me about many things not just my health.

I am devasted to learn of Dr. Felig's passing.  Not only was he a brilliant doctor but he was especially caring and kind.  I am so sad the world lost such an incredible person.

I have been a patient of Dr. Felig's for over 25 years and I am so sad to hear of his passing.  

His exams were always calm, deliberate and thorough.  I never felt rushed.  He would answer every question I had no matter how many patients he had waiting.

I always knew to schedule well in advance and to ask for the first appointment of the day.  Otherwise, I might be in his office for hours.  But that is one of the things that made him such a wonderful doctor.

My condolences to his family,  Photos of you were always featured prominently in his office.  

I am very sad to hear of Dr Felig’s passing. His sharing of knowledge and empathy made him  unique.  He always had time to answer questions.  I am so thankful for his many years of care   A very special man, doctor and Yankee fan.  I will miss our talks.  My sympathies go out to all his family members in whom he took such pride.   He is missed

Dr.  Felig  was a giant in his medical specialty of endocrinology.  He was truly the consummate physician.  We shared several patients about which he was always available for discussions about them when needed.  I will always remember his empathetic caring of people.  He will be missed by his many patients, colleagues and, of course, his family.

Dr. Felig was my doctor, and he was responsible for saving my life. He was a wonderful doctor in every way, and he will be missed tremendously. My heart goes out to his beloved family. 

I am saddened by his sudden death. He was a wonderful, brilliant, astute and empathetic physician who cared deeply about his patients. I cannot thank him enough for his decades of care.

I was shocked to find out this morning of Phil’s passing.  I am so sad.  He generously advised me on my patients with thyroid conditions.  He always took my calls especially in the middle of  his busy workday.
He was a true giant!  A gentleman.  
And a fellow Princetonian.  Although we were years apart at Princeton, we shared a love of the place and celebrated it together with his lovely wife, Florence.  I will miss you, Phil.    Love, Jill

I was truly shocked to learn of Phil Felig's passing. His energy, passion and commitment I thought would endure  for ever. 

Phil Felig was brilliant, insightful and erudite. He trained many generations of academic and clinical endocrinologists and taught fellows, including myself,  how to carefully reflect on their research. His care and devotion to patients was exemplary.
On a personal level he was strong, approachable, caring and an excellent mentor and colleague. Although I have not had contact with him recently, his values and impact on me will always remain. His capacity to give and genuinely care are truly the embodiment of his persona and the way I characterize and remember him. This is the legacy we all should strive for...as important as clinical and academic excellence may be, we will be remembered by how we effect our loved ones and the lives of others. No one recollects as much the tangible as the intangible. 

His wife Florence is an inspiration and provided strength and support. He always took enormous pride in his family.

May his memory be a blessing.

Judy Aronson just told me of your father’s passing. I was very sorry to hear it.
Your entire family was a large part of my childhood… with the many visits on Shabbat on your way home from Shul. You all had a very warm place in my parent’s heart. As children I don’t know if you could have understood what those visits meant to my parents. 
Due to my father’s heart condition he could not always make it to Shul. He got up early in the morning, sat on his big chair in the living room with a stack of “seforim” to prepare a “derasha” on the parsha” hoping that you would stop by.
It gave him such pleasure when he would see your family approaching through the bay windows. Certainly, it gave him a sense of self worth as you sat and listened, but both my parents got special joy when you asked questions or prepared a “gut vort” to tell them.
This education to care for others and for intellectual prowess was instilled in you by your father and mother... a gift for life.
Your father always had a listening ear and was willing to advise on medical issues when they approached him in a very humble yet professional way.
I am sure that his loss will be strongly felt in your family and hope that you will continue his legacy of ואהבת לרעך כמוך.
My condolences to Mrs. Felig as well.

We are deeply saddened by Phil's sudden passing.
Phil was not only a great physician and a brilliant investigator but was an amazing scholar, an informed citizen as well as both a loving husband and father...
