Our heartfelt condolences on your shattering loss. 
We were always proud to hear of how excellently well Prethvin was doing in sports, studies and at work. 
Deepa akka - you and Udday mama gave Prethvin your best, from the time he was a baby- cheering his accomplishments and rooting for  him through challenges. 
I last met Prethvin at Vanikka and Vivek mama's family reunion- from a lively, young kid he had matured into a fine, polite, active young man with a lovely smile and that's the way we will always remember him.

Deepama and Babu uncle, 
My deepest heartfelt condolences. It’s a loss that can never be justified. I can’t reconcile this idea of Prethvin no longer being amongst us. Like Krupa said, I know Nanda uncle will look after him. 

He clearly has left an indelible mark with everyone he has come across and that is a testimony to his character and life. 

When we were young, I remember once he tried to convince me that he had piranhas and and I might loose a limb if I dip my hand in it or something… but I immediately started crying  (we were all extremely young) and he must have apologised 100 times and promised me he was joking. Cheeky. 🥰 The more I ponder the more I’m able to cherish the moments we had spent together 
 
My thoughts and prayers are with you. We are here if you need anything at all.

In loving memory of a dear friend, whose kindness brightened every room. His laughter, and gentle spirit touched so many lives, leaving an imprint that will remain with us forever. Though his presence is deeply missed, his memory will live on in the countless ways he shaped our lives and brought us joy. May we honor him by carrying forward his love and compassion. Dear Babu & Deepa, 
I’m deeply saddened & disturbed to know about the huge loss. Prithvin was a role model to many of his friends & cousins.  We always know him as a calm & composed personality with incredible talents.  No words to express the sorrow & pain you are experiencing & no words can ease your pain.  I can also understand how Naren & Krupa are feeling right now.  Prithvin’s fond memories can bring a sense of comfort to you both.  I really don’t have the courage to talk to Deepa.  As Krupa said, Prithvin will be embraced by Nandha in heaven. My thoughts & prayers are always with you both as you navigate this challenging journey of grief.

Dear Deepa and Udday,

I am deeply saddened by the loss of your wonderful son, Prethvin.  He has been a bright presence to one and all who knew him. To have faced such a difficult journey with courage and unwavering resilience speaks volumes about the remarkable person he was.

I hung out on my terrace with PV almost every evening when we were in college and in +2 at Sishya in Chennai. Before that he was the guy who taught me how to win long jump, he was the final trump card in our Narmada mixed relay, he was the guy who became my unlikely friend and confidant. 

I remember the hundreds of drives we took in his Honda city, he let me try out his dads beemer, essentially taught me how to drive… 

We’d sometimes go to Baskin Robbins and I’d make fun of his order - strawberry banana and mint chocolate chip, TOGETHER that too. We’d always go for parties together or watch movies in his home theatre. My first time getting high was with him when we watched The Other Guys and laughed uncontrollably for three hours. 

He was always so stoic and matter of fact about everything. My favourite times were when HE was in a jovial mood and there were so many of those when it came to our friendship. It made me feel better too, about anything. 

I loved Prethvin so much and while we didn’t talk as much after I moved to Bangalore and him to the US, we’d still check in on each other. I am not able to accept that he’s gone. It feels horribly unfair and like a weird dream. I can’t believe I didn’t spend every moment with him because if I knew he’d be gone like this, I would absolutely have done that. 

I’ll miss you Peeves.

Dear Deepa, Udday and the whole family, words cannot even start to express my sympathy and sadness at the news of the terrible loss of your darling Prethvin. Heaven has gained an angel but here we remain on this earth, to cherish his memory and his presence in  your hearts and minds. May your hearts be comforted in your time of grief and sorrow and may you find strength to establish his legacy in the days and years to come. Though I can’t physically be there with you, my thoughts and prayers and love remain with all of you as you go through the next several difficult days. Sending hugs to all of you.

Udday and Deepa, 

I cannot begin to fathom the immense pain you must be enduring right now. Losing such a remarkable son is a heartbreaking experience beyond words. 

I deeply admire the strength of parents who stood by their son as he bravely faced nature’s harshest challenges. Although he is no longer here, may you find comfort in knowing that his spirit and the beautiful memories he left behind will always be with you, inspiring others with his courage and love. 

Our hearts are profoundly saddened by your loss, but we are also grateful for the light he brought into this world.
