Rita Fischer

Devoted daughter, wife, mother, aunt, great aunt and dear friend to many, Rita was an impassioned activist for LGBTQ causes and specifically GMHC AIDS WALK (for which she was a champion fundraiser attending practically every Walk for 30 years and cumulatively raising well over a million dollars). In her memory, donations may be made to Congregation Beit Simchat Torah (CBST) or Rita's GMHC AIDS Walk Team.

Burial will be held at Mount Lebanon Cemetery (7800 Myrtle Ave., Glendale, NY, 11385
