Dear Cal, Ivy, Neil

I mourn with you the loss of your Mom and my dear friend Roz. She was a class act, a dynamic caring loving person. We met Roz and Larry 34 years ago at Boca Pointe. We discovered that our husbands were in the same summer camp. Our in-laws got to know each other. We shared so many happy memories which I will treasure always.

I met Roz Tannebaum when I was 18 years old. I was dating Cal and was invited to Shabbos dinner. The home in Great Neck was beautifully decorated. The tablecloth was so heavily embroidered that the sparkling crystal was compromised. The silver was polished like mirrors. This beautiful, elegant lady was a superb hostess. She invited me to light the candles. One of the men asked if there was any ketchup. She jumped from the table to get it. She appeared in a flash with a silver dish filled with ketchup. No bottle of soda, ketchup or pickles on her elegant table. Roz never missed a celebration! Not only beautiful on the outside, but a woman of valor. Her positive view on life will always be remembered. We will look through "Roz colored glasses". Thanks and I'll miss you. Adele

My deepest sympathy on your loss,
Roz Tannenbaum was my dear friend, mentor, partner in the Club at Boca Pointe and a 2nd mother to me. Roz was the heart of Hadassah. She was a ray of sunshine and a true leader. Roz was feisty, spirited, energetic and her positive attitude was contagious. She was philanthropic and a class act and never uttered a mean word about anyone. Winter, spring, summer or fall all you had to do was call and you had a friend!!!

Dear Ivy, Calvin and Neil: I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom and I have shared so many wonderful times . My most favorite was spending a wonderful week at Chautauga where we learned, dined, socialized and toured the town like BFFs. She was such a fun, vivacious, considerate and kind person. We shared so many interests, Bridge playing, shows, Hadassah, long talks and, of course our love for our families.
Oh how proud she was of her family and included them in almost every conversation. She was so fortunate and so happy you were with her in later years. Roz was dearly loved and her memory will always be cherished .

Roz was certainly a special lady. We played tennis together for many years . We had a lot of laughs and good times. I know how she adored her family. I will miss her and always have her in my thoughts. It was a privilege to be her friend.

Ivy, your mom was one of a kind! She was a very special woman who lived a long and very full life surrounded by so much love. You two shared a unique bond that was a joy to watch. I will never forget how stunning she looked at Sara’s wedding! She was kind and generous and full of life. She will surely be missed by all who loved her.

Roz and I worked together as Welcome Wagon managers on Long Island in the 70s. We enjoyed each other's company very much whenever we had occasion to get together. Although I haven't seen Roz in many, many years we always connected with cards and notes at holiday times. One year she sent me a beautiful photo of her very large and very attractive family, I think it was at her last "big" birthday. I have treasured Roz's friendship these many years and I wish the best for all of you as you strive to cope with the loss of this dear woman.
