

Sandy S. Su passed away on August 28, 2021 at the age of 76 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband Tom Chun-Hwai Su; daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Daniel; son and daughter-in-law Victor and Patricia; grandchildren Amanda and Brandon; siblings Kuang-Hsiung, Sylvia Shwu-Hwa, Kuang-Rong, Kuang-Chen, Ying-Ying and siblings-in-laws Chung-Chi, Wang-Chuan, Wang-Yi, Kuo-Liang, Kuo-Ming, Yi-Yi, Ying-Jui and their extended families.
Sandy was born in Tainan, Taiwan in 1945 and immigrated with her husband Tom to New York in 1970. Sandy was passionate about so many things in her life. Family always came first and in addition to her immediate family, she was a caring sister and aunt to the entire Su and Ro extended families which now includes over 50 family members in the United States.
Sandy was also passionate about her company, Engross Trading Inc., which she started in 1978 and built into a very successful business importing hardware products.
In addition to her family and business, Sandy was deeply religious and a devoted Taoist following the teachings of Yiguandao. She started Tien Her Temple in Flushing to create a place of worship and fellowship for the community. She is known as the beloved Master Lo by her temple members which extend all over the United States, Taiwan and Colombia.
Sandy will be remembered as an inspiration to all who met her and loved her.
A visitation will be held on September 10th, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm at Frank E. Campbell – The Funeral Chapel, 1076 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10028. A funeral service will be held on September 11th, 2021 from 10am to 11:30am at Frank E. Campbell – The Funeral Chapel.
