To All The Family Of Shelby Modell-           
Where does one begin?  I have had  the honor of loving, respecting and knowing SHELBY MODELL
Shelby,  and I first met several years ago.   For many years, Micheal her son,  was a dear friend to me, when we were just about  the age of 14 years old. I remember him  to this day and he was so very special  always to me . Michael was such a gentle person that I will always remember  and miss him dearly. I will never ever forget the "LOVE",and deepest devotion that all of the family gave to him, especially  his stunning, loving, mother  SHELBY and father William.  If his mother Shelby, could have moved  mountains, find and develop a cure,
   to make Michael all better, she would have done that  without any hesitations. In fact   Shelby  was so kind and  the most giving person,  to offer to help even a stranger out, she would and she did! She was a gem of a true lady with class, all the way. Shelby was very smart and always knew who the phonies were and who her true friends were. Shelby was nobody's fool .
   I was just one of the most fortunate people to  have had the special gift of  being a friend to Shelby for so many years. May you now  be with   the man you loved and married, Bill-[ he has been waiting for you ] and  join Michael and all  those friends that have been missing you. I bet you will be the bell of the ball  there too !  MAY G-D HOLD YOU CLOSE TO HIS HEART..  as I will  always remember you with such admiration and love.

                                

Having Leslie as my friend since we were 8 years old I have the fondest memories of Shelby who was like a second mother to me. Your family was blessed to have such an amazing role model. Sending love to the family . Jo-Ann Hilsenroth Rifkind

Shelby Modell was a remarkable woman. I served on the board of Gildas club with her and Bill. May her memory be a blessing. May she always be with you in your heart.
