Steve led a life marked by determination, strength, and quiet perseverance. He once said that what mattered most, more so than money or wealth, was time. That is a maxim by which he lived his life. He devoted his time, his energy, and his heart to his family and his friends. Steve had a unique ability to quietly reassure, to offer his counsel, to offer his shoulder, to offer his guidance and insight.
Anytime there was a problem to solve, Steve was there, quietly figuring out the most effective way to get things done. He would simply, and without fuss, take care of it.
To be sure, Steve faced hardships in his life that were unique to him, but he never let these struggles define who he was or what he could or did accomplish. His strength and quiet determination, wrapped in a core of kindness and compassion, were central to who he was.
Steve loved the friends and family in his life more than anything else in this world. Steve was successful and accomplished, but his achievements in the work world paled in comparison to the mark that he has left to those that were lucky enough to know him.
He was loved very dearly, and he will be missed.
