I can't believe Steve passed away.   Steve is warm, always willing to help and with great personality.  I only met him for 3 times in person but every time he has great impact in my life.  The other day I was thinking, how's Steve? How's he doing? Then I reached out and I found out he passed away.  I wish his daughter is well because he has deep caring with his daughter and he is always talking about her.  Thank you Steve! You are great always setting role model for ppl you met.

Dear Tina and Isabella, I am so sorry for your loss. I just watched the  video tribute to Steve and found it to be very moving. It is times like these that I wish we were all together as family to share our sorrows and to support each other. I feel like a distant cousin but at the same time I know that we share so much blood and history. I hope that both of you will find peace and hope in the months and years to come. My name is Jonathan, I was one of the representatives at the UPS store, that would take care of Steve's mail, and such. 

Steve and I, we had a very close friendship. I met him back in December 2020, after he closed the gap of our relationship, and decided to not be Customer and Employee anymore. He wanted to be my friend. 

He came in during Christmas rush, waited till the end of the day (because he didn't want to be a nuisance, since the store was so so busy) to hand deliver a card for me, and all of us who worked there. I read the letter, I was touched and stricken with happiness upon seeing a very thoughtful 100$ bill. 

That day forward, he was no longer Box #214, He was my pal Steve! I would see him , talk to him , converse with him, and laugh with him. Every other day, every time I saw him. 

I can say, without a doubt in my heart, Having not even met you, Izzy. That your father loved you, and was so proud of you. He would keep me updated on what you accomplished, and through him I also learned admiration for you. He spoke so highly of you. I hope you continue your path forward, knowing along the way. Your father will be watching your back, all the way there and beyond. 

I'm going to miss my friend, I'm going to miss seeing him, I'm going to miss the moments in which he would take me out of my work state of mind just for a second, to send him a smile and a wave his way. While he'd reply, "Be good!".

Steven didn't look his age AND  his attitude didn't reflect what personal matters may have been eating away at his psyche! He wanted to be the light in some of our lives, and accomplished that very task. I will learn from that, and learn to be like him. We can all learn from this, and let him live vicariously through us. 

I wish I had more space, but for now. Rest in paradise Steven. May our paths cross again in another life.

There isn't one  memory there are a million, when you share growing up with someone so special like Steve.. we were babies together.. went to Yankee games even before we went to kindergarten.. too many to name.. since Lou introduced my dad to my mom..I am heartbroken that you aren't in this world anymore.. I had the pleasure working with Steve for five years and every day he called me KEETO.  Steve would always leave a piece of chocolate on my desk and I would tell him that if I have a piece of chocolate everyday I would be obese.  His exacts words to me was "eat the last slice of pizza, break the rules, live each day like your last KEETO"

Steve I am going to miss you calling me over to your desk and me being your IT guy in the office.  

Thanks for giving me great advice and always showing me the positive in things when I was down.

Steve was genuinely a nice person who always had a lot of great advice. When I used to bring my daughter to work, he would always talk to her about her future. Which till this day is embedded in her head. I will miss you Steve!  You were loved by many. Your daughter has gained an angel.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Steve was one of the first faces I saw when I started with TBG 5 years ago. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He was so kind, polite and warm. He worked very hard. He was always in so early & left very late. He spoke so highly to me about his daughter. Steve had a beautiful heart.  I am very grateful that he and I crossed paths in this life time. Hope to see his pleasant smile when we meet again.

Steve, thank you for being such a great man. You’ve taken time to mentor me in some of my most vulnerable moments. When my son came to live with me you told me I could step up and be a single Father. You also spent a lot of time with him over the weekends mentoring him as well. We both appreciate, respect and love you. 

The sudden news of Steve’s passing was shocking and heartbreaking to the TBG family that worked with him many years. My last memory of Steve was him waving at me last week as I walked around the office to just say hello! We always talked about our daughters. He always asked me about mine and offered his advise on raising a girl but always made sure to share kind words to remind me that he knew she was my motivation in life just as his was to him. I will miss his stories and words of encouragement very much. Walking into the office will just not be the same without his smiling face walking by my desk. Rest In Peace Steve.  Thank you for all the great chats and advice. My condolences to his family. 

I had the privilege of speaking to Steve last Thursday when I was working at TBG's front desk. He told me to guess his last name after telling me it was the last name of a famous American director, Paul Newman. Steve told me to watch one of his movies and wanted me to tell him later in the summer what I thought of it. I will most definitely watch one of his movies in his memory. Steve was extremely kind and will be missed at the office.

I am very sad to hear of Steve’s passing and I am so sorry for your loss. While I did not know Steve long at the Bachrach Group, I knew that he was very kind, caring, and lively. During my first two days at my internship, Steve introduced himself to me and gave me future advice. It meant a lot to me. I would always look forward to seeing him around the office to say hi. I met Steve while working at TBG. I was working in the NYC office, I used to arrive early and work late so we would always catch up and bs. We would listen to Frank Sinatra all the time, really loud throughout the office. We both enjoyed the dean and frank era music . It always stood out to me, that the one main concern he had, was making sure he put his daughter through the best education. I always enjoyed hearing how much he cared and loved his daughter. He will be missed, he was great guy, we did get a beer from time to time in nyc.  RIP Steve. Condolences to your family.

I had the pleasure of calling Steve a friend and colleague for nearly 11 years. We were both early risers and shared many, many mornings together in the office before the rest of the firm arrived. Steve, a lifelong learner, had the NY Times delivered daily and every morning I would drop it on his desk. The daily call of, "Jordo! Thanks for the paper!" always brought a smile to my face.

Steve was one of the most honorable and respectable men I've ever met. His sole focus was providing for his daughter and he worked tirelessly to afford her every advantage possible, from Dalton to Brown to medical school and beyond. In her, he leaves a legacy that will survive his own life. My happiest memories with Steve were sharing the pride we took in our children and I will forever remember his beaming smile as he spoke of Isabella and her many accomplishments. The last conversation we had, like so many before it, was about the shared joy we both enjoyed from being fathers.

Steve, thank you for many years of friendship, company and for setting an example that we should all strive for. 

Tina, Isabel and Rich! I was so sorry to hear about Steves sudden loss. OH.....  we had a blast in the early 80's when he lived in Chicago . We spent a lot of time running around the city on his ( or was it Richies's?)   Yellow scooter He was adored, and  will be remembered  smiling, and laughing  loudly with abandon. I worked with Steve at TBG. Steve was one of the first I met and we had a friendship aside from being my co-worker. He was one of the first  I saw in the morning when I arrived to work and we had our "catch up talks" and had our laughs getting our coffee at the  office. He had that warm and big smile  and would ask- "how are the kids and what are they doing today?" I remember years ago when my kids were 7 years old, he gave me great advice, especially with school and he shared lots of stories about his daughter Isabella. He was so proud of her and all she had accomplished. He loved his job and he really cared about his applicants and I never met anyone I worked with that took so much time and wanted to help them all! 

Steve was such a special and kind hearted person that always had a smile on his face.  I will miss him so much.

Stevens blue eyes linger in our hearts.
Steven held the chuppah up at my wedding and stood by me in my early 20s and 30s.
I remember sitting in there home helping them to come up with their daughters name hence Isabella Blaze. 
His eyes always smiled with cheerfulness

Our Cousin Steven's sudden passing leaves us shocked and numbed. We will always remember his special kindnesses to us during the years he lived in Chicago in the 1970's. I worked with Steve for close to eight years. He always spoke of how proud he was if his daughter and all of the great things she was doing. I met up with Steve at a Yankee game with my son a few years back and ever since, he would give me little Yankee tokens to share with my kids. He was a kind hearted man that I was luck enough to call a friend. He would always tell “James-O” when he would walk in the office early every morning. Rest In Peace Newman. You will be missed.

I have worked with Steve for about 10 years. Over that time he became much more than a coworker.  Steve was always interested in how my son was doing and would always tell me what a special kid he is. He was also always talking about how much he loved being a dad to his daughter and how proud he was of her. It was always very sincere and touching.

Steve was a beloved TBGers.  He will be deeply missed.

We remember Steve as an extremely dedicated hard worker.  He loved Frank Sinatra and helping people.

Above all he loved his family.  Especially his daughter.

Steve was the fist one in and the last one out, he truly loved what he did.  His last days were spent helping people and he was having his best run of success.  

My last interaction with Steve was him showing me how happy a candidate was that he just placed.  Nothing made him happier than helping people.  He was always a quick smiler in the mornings.  

TBG will miss Steve.  I will miss Steve.
