Sylvia was always at the forefront of all major happenings in and around the city.  And I was glad to be the recipient of her emails enlightening me to recent developments, whether it was involving health concerns,  politics and countless other newsworthy and valuable issues.  I also enjoyed Sylvia as a neighbor and conversing with her in our local supermarket where we occasionally ran into each other.  Sylvia was a lovely, wonderful and knowledgeable presence in our community.

My deepest sympathy to her family.  Dear Sylvia, rest in peace.  

Mike and I send our deepest condolences on Ruth's passing.  I just spoke with her a few weeks ago.  We have many fond memories from Aruba.
