Sylvia M. Torres devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother, loved teacher, and wonderful friend, passed away on February 21st 2026. She had transitioned into her eternity life surrounded by family and love! To know Sylvia was to hear “you know I like to joke around” and to feel welcomed and loved all the time. Her laugh was contagious like no other. She was a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren and always made sure to let them know how proud of them she was. She was a mother of 4 and had a special bond with each of her kids. Sylvia was known to always have her nails done, whether they were long or short even till the day she passed. She was full of life and fought to the very end with everything she had. She was one of the smartest women you would ever meet, from being a teacher for 17 years to doing daily word search puzzles. She loved to read, especially her James Patterson books. She was the life of the party and was ready to hit the dance floor at all times. She was just like a flower, bloomed for everyone to see and notice just how beautiful and kind she was. The love she gave will never be forgotten. The joy she brought to those she knew will never be matched. She will always be missed and she will always be remembered and loved. We love you more Mami, Abuela, and Abuelita til infinity!
