What a lovely, lovely, and utterly unforgettable man.  I did not realize how blessed I was to have shared backgrounders with Tad for WBAI, mulled over plans, and fallen into glorious  conversations over the garden fence for lo some twenty years with Mr. T.   It never occurred to me that his smiling face wouldn't be there forever . . .    My heart goes out to George and my prayers go up to Mr. T. 

T you were a man of many talents and a great crusader of the arts.  My deepest love go out to you and George.  Thank you for many memories and laughs we shared over the years.  From Ailey to Complexions to Harlem School of the Arts, what a web we weaved! x

Brother George - knowing you, you're holding up.  Ingrid and I were in the South of France when we heard the news. We sent a card then saw this site, so we wanted to say that we love you guys and our prayers go out to you and of course to T's family.  Love ya

Joy comes in all forms; sunrises & sunsets, the ocean waves, birds singing in the morning, and a smile and hug from T. Your eternal joy is now in the atmosphere spreading love all over the universe. Love you T, you will be missed & never forgotten.

Dear George, you have always been my hero since the night I sat in my NY apartment and watched you accept your Tony award. It was a big treat for me when I got to meet you and T years later. God bless you and T in this moment of temporary separation!
