Theodore J. Israel, Jr. died on November 29,2015, peacefully, at home in NYC. Beloved husband of Laurel Cutler Israel for over 12 years and loving husband to Laura Nadler Israel for over 50 years, who preceded him in death.
Devoted father of Michael Israel of Jackson, LA; Nancy & Steven Hannick of Highland Park, IL and Wendy Israel of Evanston, IL. Adored grandfather of Jessica and Michael Hannick.
Ted was a bright, sweet, soft spoken gentleman who partnered with his cousin Stephen A. Lieber to build a successful investment company. He held a seat on the New York Stock Exchange and was a proud member of the Buttonwood Club. He served in Europe with the 243rd Battalion during WWII. He graduated from Williams College in 1948 and later went on to earn an MBA.
Memorial Service to be held on Tuesday 5pm at Frank E Campbell "The Funeral Chapel".
