I knew Tommy when I worked in Hooligan’s Tavern in the 90s. A very nice, knowledgeable and funny guy. He was very proud of being a New Yorker and of his Irish roots. Always talked lovingly of his mother. Very sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.

My most Sincere Prayers and Condolences on the passing of my fellow graduate from Our Lady of Good Counsel School class of 1959... I always remember Tommy being one of the smartest guys in the class and was one of the two selected to attend Regis High School... He was always very thoughtful and somewhat quiet but much admired among his classmates.. may he rest in Peace and my thoughts and Prayers are with his family.. God Bless him Always...

I went to grammar school with Tommy, and as kids, we played ball after school. We didn't see much of each other during high school, but after that we would meet occasionally to share a drink and a joke.    But that was many years ago.   When I heard of Tommy's death, my memory went back to those long-ago days and those good times.   

My condolences to Tommy's family.    To me, in my mind's eye, he will always be young.      May his spirit be at rest.

Peggy, you have my sincere condolences on the passing of your brother.   While I haven't seen him in many years, I still remember all of the good and fun times we shared growing up on 96th Street and I always considered him to be a good friend.     I was impressed, and I have to admit somewhat envious at how intelligent and academically successful he was, attending Regis HS and eventually Fordham University on a full scholarship.   Yet, he remained down to earth and never lauded his academic achievements over those of us who were far less accomplished.   He was a well liked  member of our friend group growing up and I am glad to have known him during those years.
