I am so sorry to hear of Vera’s passing.
May I pass on my condolences to her family.
I spent many years looking after Tibor in London after his late wife  Olga passed away, although the early years were very difficult for him he slowly regained a passion for life. It was around this time that he discovered the joys of cruising, it was after one of these trips that he came home with a spring in his step, he had met a wonderful lady from New York who shared many of the memories that he possessed.
Over the years both Tibor and Vera and Fiona and myself enjoyed many happy memories, especially celebrating Tibors 100th birthday at the Royal Garden hotel in Kensington.
After  Tibors passing Vera kept in contact for a number of years by telephone, I think the travelling had become too difficult at this stage. 
Then suddenly the telephone calls ceased and I feared the worse, I still searched for Vera on the internet from time to time , hence the discovery that I made today.
Rest in Peace Vera.

My sincere condolences to Vera’s family.  Vera was my father’s secretary at Irridelco for many many years. I have many fond memories of her taking me for walks in Manhattan when I was a child and of our many talks of her travels as I got older. I still have souvenirs she brought me and gifts she gave me thought out the years. She was an amazing woman whom I will never forget her.

Vera was a beautiful and intelligent woman. She had a difficult life at first as she lived and survived the horrors of World War II.

After coming to New York her life turned around. Hey family was here and we were all very close and loving. She traveled, worked hard, loved going to the opera and exercised and swam daily at the gym.

Later in her life she met Tibor who lived in London. A very fine gentleman who adored Vera. They were together until his death
