That was the headline on Vincent’s FB account. Vincent ”aka VIENCINT” Cabada left us too soon. His last several years were challenging, but his love for his son, Junior, and daughter, Jazzy, never wavered. He spoke about them constantly. He always looked forward to the day that they would be together again. Alas, life had other plans.
Vincent was a great mechanic; he got hired on the spot. He was also a good saxophone player, a poet, and a writer. He loved the waters. He takes his family, friends, and kids to Lake Tahoe, Pyramid Lake, and Paradise Park whenever possible.
He had a special relationship with his nephews and nieces, especially with Korina. Vincent’s legacy is that he is inclusive, loved unconditionally, and accepting of all those whom he encountered and engaged.
His brothers Rolando, Robert, and Joe will keep his legacy going, especially to his kids. Vincent can now be a spiritual guide for his beloved family and friends, but most of all, his two children.
In place of flowers or donations, please reach out to your loved ones. Your outreach may be the air that they need to breathe.
