

Vincent Noonan, 84, was born on October 14, 1941, in Elizabeth and died on July 2, 2026. A longtime resident of New York, New York, Vincent’s life reflected steady purpose, professional excellence, and a deep commitment to the people and communities he cared for.
Vincent graduated from Holy Trinity High School in Westfield, New Jersey, as a member of the Class of 1959. He went on to earn a B/A in Communications from Seton Hall, where he also served as Station Manager for WSOU University Radio Station. His dedication to the craft of broadcasting and storytelling continued through advanced study, including an M/A in Communications, and was marked early by recognition for his work, including an award connected with WGBH-TV Boston and Boston University. While there, he worked as a cameraman on *The French Chef* with Julia Childs
Vincent built a remarkable career across television and advertising, bringing a disciplined eye and a professional standard that earned respect throughout the industries he served.He later worked in New York television, including as a cameraman for Mets baseball. His leadership grew alongside his technical expertise, advancing to Assistant Station Manager before transitioning into advertising. Vincent served as Producer and VP at Sawdon & Bess, where he won a Clio for the Foot Locker client. He later joined Levine, Huntley, Schmidt & Beaver, first as an Account Executive and then as V.P., working on Subaru advertising and earning four Clios for the client—recognition that reflected both creative excellence and steadfast professionalism.
Vincent also served his country as a U.S. Army 1st LT., stationed in Germany. That experience stood as part of a life shaped by responsibility and service—qualities that remained evident in the way he approached work, family, and community.
In time, Vincent and his wife Pat built something of their own, becoming small business owners in Greenwich Village with Mail Boxes Etc., a pack-and-ship business they operated together. After 21 years, the business was sold, closing a significant chapter defined by perseverance, partnership, and day-to-day dedication.
Vincent also gave his time to the city he called home. He volunteered for The Jefferson Market Garden in Greenwich Village for four years, and he ran—and finished—the NYC Marathon three times, a testament to determination and follow-through.
Vincent is survived by his wife, Patricia Noonan; his sons, Matthew Noonan and wife Carol, and Michael Noonan; his grandchildren, Michael Noonan Jr and wife Haley, Andrew Noonan, and Victoria Mills and husband Jesse; his great-grandchildren, Luca Mills, Loralei Mills, and Graham Noonan; his brothers, William Noonan and wife Candy, his nephew Kris Noonan and niece Keri Roman. His Late Brothers John Noonan, and Robert Noonan; his god daughter, Logan Waters and husband Pete Spannaus; his niece, Nicole Barile and husband Chris; and his grand nephews, Sawyer and Harper. Sister in Law Debbie Noonan and her son Paul Noonan. Nephews Greg Noonan and Alex Noonan.
A Memorial Service will be held at Chas. Peter Nagel Funeral Directors, 352 East 87th Street, New York, NY 10128, on July 18, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
