Alice was the daughter of the late Koichi and Shizuko Kawamura of Hawaii. She was also the sister of Violet (Wilfred) Nonaka, Carol (Frank) Nakashima, and Wallace Kawamura.
She is survived by her children, Janice (Henry) Kuwahara, Duane (Mie) Yamashita of New Jersey, Karen E. Yamashita, and Paul R. Yamashita. She was the beloved grandmother of Christopher and Ava Yamashita. She is also survived by her brother, Richard (Joyce) Kawamura, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members across Hawaii, California, and British Columbia.
