Barbara Louise Spaulding-Locicero

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Louise Spaulding- Locicero, known as BJ. She was born January 26,1931. She passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025. She was born in Los Angeles, California. She was the beloved daughter of Herbert Edgar and Mildred Parker. BJ was predeceased by her brother Reese Parker and sister Deanna Schmidt. She spent time in Los Angeles taking dance classes until the family moved to San Jose, California where she attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara. She spent most of her life in San Jose, California where she opened up a dance studio and was a dance instructor. She married Benjamin Spaulding II and had two children. BJ is survived by her daughter Pixley (Pixie) Schwartz and her husband Steve Schwartz and their two children Cole Schwartz and Cade Schwartz. Her son Benjamin (Ben) Spaulding lll and his wife April Spaulding and their four children Amber Spaulding, Brittany Milovanovic and her husband Milo Milovanovic and their three children Bjorn, Freya and Fjor. She returned to Los Angeles as a nutritionist and remained there for the rest of her life. She was a proud resident of Valencia California. Where she enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. BJ loved her family more than anything and loved spending time with them. She lived a full life dedicated to her family.

She was most proud of her Mini Cooper. She loved going on excursions and visiting all her favorite local shops. She loved listening to music and visiting friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
