Mr. Penrod loved to watch and follow USC football. His biggest joy in life was spending time with his family and his grandson.
He is survived by his adoring daughters, Sarah Diane Dudra of Castaic, Janis Marie Makay of Northridge, and Shawna Dawn Penrod of Northridge. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jeanne & Veryl; sisters, Rita and Dixie; and brother, Robert.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. with the funeral service following at 10:00 a.m. Services will be held at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, in Newhall.
