Bettyrose meant the world to my husband Bill Hunter. I first meet Bettyrose shortly after Bill and I started going together. Bill introduced me to Bettyrose in 1959 at the New Hall Dance Place along with Lawrence, Rudy and Mike. They came over to see who Bill was dating. He was excited to have Bettyrose meet me.  From there a life long relationship was started.

Bill and I married on February 14, 1960. Bettyrose was always so wonderful to me. She was excited when we had children. Paul in 1962, Willie in in 1963 and Richard in 1967. She made the fanciest cakes and presents to Paul and Wille when we lived in Culver City. Every year there was a large Easter and Thanksgiving family get together. Bettyrose always gave such nice dinners and hospitality 

Bettyrose, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and care you gave to me and my children. When we lost Bill in 1967 it was the hardest tragedy in both of our lives. Thank you for always being there for me. You helped me so much. You raised two wonderful daughters. Your life was blessed. We will miss you.

Dearest Cordova Family - Although we are far away in Virginia, Nancy, Donna and their families are in our thoughts and prayers.  We are thinking of you and sending lots of love your way as you think about your Mom and Grandma.  Loving you all, Danielle & Denny Bryant

I remember my Aunt Bettyrose as a statuesque blonde goddess with an endearing personality and radiant smile. Her gracious hospitality and interest in our lives made every member of our family feel special. Empathy ran deep in her heart, validated by streams of warm tears when she talked about her brother, Billy, whom our families shared in love; Uncle Bill left us too soon. When I visited Aunt Betty, she was interested in my life and listened to what I had to say. Her generosity would tickle us as kids when the Cordova family came to visit. She always brought huge boxes of candy and thoughtful gifts for my mom, Sydni. I remember my aunt as one who valued family first, hard work always, and perfection in her hobbies of quilting and doll restoration. With love from your niece, Becky. Nancy and Donna, You have been good and loyal daughters to BettyRose.  Thank you for sharing her with our Questers all these years.   We have loved having her with us.  My heart goes out to you both.  Love you dearly and sending prayers for Peace.
