Catherine May Smith Ottosi

CATHERINE MAY OTTOSI died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011 at her residence in Santa Clarita. She was 92. Catherine was born in Brooklyn, New York to Harold and Edna Homeyer Smith. She has lived in the Santa Clarita Valley for over 30 years. She worked for the former PT&T in accounting and was the union steward for the entire building. Catherine also had memberships in the Pioneers and the Elks Lodge.

She is survived by her sons: Paul H.Ottosi, Gary W. Ottosi, and James F. Quinn; her sister, Dolores Marquardt; her niece, Christine Lynn; her nephews, Todd, James, and Scott; her grandchildren, Gary Jr., Courtney, Jennifer, Barbara, and Jimmy; her great-grandchildren, Shyanne, Gary III, Morgan, Danielle, Charlotte, Granger, and Olen; and daughters-in- law, Linda, Stacey, and Joyce.

Visitation will be held this Sunday, Nov. 6, from 9-11am with her funeral to begin at 11am. All services will be at Eternal Valley's Chapel of the Oaks, 23287 N. Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA. Arrangements under the direction of Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, Newhall, CA.

We know that she would have said, “I did it my way”.
