Chad, we know you are celebrating Christmas with our Heavenly Father.  Your family and friends have such fond memories of you at this special time of year.  Our prayers go out to your wife, children, parents, brother, nieces and nephews at this time.

Chad I feel blessed for knowing you.  You have always had a special place in the hearts of the ‘Sarfate's'.  You and your parents/Neil had such a positive impact on my life at such a young age, and I cherish all of the memories that you have allowed me to create.  You were a loyal friend, you cared so deeply for those that were close to you and you always knew how to put a smile on someone's face.  I could probably write a short novel with all of my ‘Chad stories'.  It's funny how over time, you continue to slip yourself into thoughts or conversations that we have.  And we still crack up when we talk about them, as if they just happened.  

I remember how much you loved music and how random your taste was.  It was awesome to find someone your age that liked Billy Joel, because I too grew up listening to him.  Every time you would play one of his CDs in your Jeep, you would say, “next up a little tune from Jilly Bowl.”  That always made me laugh and to this day, when I hear one of his songs on the radio, I think to myself, awe Jilly Bowl.  

Back in the day you had the biggest crush on Madeleine Stowe and you made sure everyone knew it.  When Unlawful Entry was released, you thought it was the greatest movie ever made.  You probably watched it 100 times and I remember you begging your parents to let you take the movie poster home, before they even had a chance to hang it up in the video store.  Owen & Gavin, you'll have to watch this movie when you're 18.  

My favorite/funniest memories that I'd like to share with your boys is the night we all went to dinner and you showed up at my house, fully dressed as a woman.  You had the long black wig, a long purple dress, fake nails, lip stick and let's just say you went the extra mile to make sure your undergarments were stuff.  It was the funniest thing ever; especially with the red lipstick all over your teeth.  We had dinner at your favorite restaurant Tucchetti's and you barely made it through dinner because the wig was getting in your way. 

Chad, your passing will always weigh heavy on our hearts and you will never be forgotten.  You were taken from your family so young, but I know you were blessed with so much of their love.  And for this, I know you will forever be watching over them.  I will continue to pray for your family; that they will always rely on each other when times are tough.  I will continue to pray for Owen and Gavin, that they always feel your presence and love around them.   It doesn't make it any easier knowing you are no longer here, but I have some comfort knowing that you are no longer suffering and are now walking with the Lord.

Chad, we had so many memories together. I think so highly of you. We grew up together.  I remember the awesome sleep over parties and the day to day at school with you. Chad, you were such an inspiration to me on many levels.  You were so versed in music, film and comedy and you and your brother Neil were always so passionate about everything.  Violent Femmes, Beastie Boys and Van Halen were among our favorite musical inspirations in our early times.  We had so many good times there are no possible words to describe the great childhood that we had together and that our parents and everyone around us provided us.  Your parents are thee best.  I absolutely love you all so very much, and it is MY great pleasure to have ever played a part in your life.  I have always thought the world of you and I will see you soon in another world.

Chad, we had some great times.  I loved hitting the road with you.  It was always an adventure!

Chad, it was a privilege working with you at Iwerks Entertainment. We shared some good times together. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. The world will not be the same place without you.

Chad, we have very fond memories of your earlier childhood when you and Ryan would play together and wrestle.  We always enjoyed having you over to our home and Ryan always loved coming to your home.  He especially loved  the movies and game room.  Chad, I remember that Ryan would tell me how nice your mom and dad were.  I will never forget the day we took you and Ryan to Val Vista Lakes and you both had your skateboards.  We were walking around the grounds and you and Ryan found this little hill with curves and a cement walkway coming down it.  You went to the top of it and said "watch this guys".  Before I even knew what you were doing you came down the hill on your skateboard and were going so fast you ran into the block wall at the bottom and broke your arm.  Well, off we went to the hospital and I called your mom.  She arrived shortly after we got there.  Of course I was in ER with Ryan several times from similar skateboard accidents.  But both of you sure enjoyed your childhood.  Needless to say, from your photos your grew into a fine young man.  You, Jenna and the boys all look so happy.  I know that Larry and Karen were very proud of you.  Now you are in Heaven doing God's work and I am sure you will continue to look down on Jenna and the boys.  You have left a legacy with your two sons.

Chad, We didn't know you real well but, we know your parents very well. We were there visiting them just before you got sick. We met you going into church and we were coming out. Your parents are Super Christian People! We have known them for quite awhile. They lived in Arizona at the time. Ron cut your Dad's hair for awhile. I think we have known him since 1988. He worked for a pool company with Bud Rick. Ron was in the hospital after surgery and we looked up and there was Bud & Larry. They were fairly new customers at that time, but they thought enough of Ron to come visit him. Your Mom is a super lady. She is caring and loving and very gentle person. We love them both and you must have been just as loving and caring as they are. We know that Jenna and the boys will do fine. Ron & Pauline
