Charles was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a recipient of
a Purple Heart in World War II. In his younger days, he liked to fish and hunt. His family and friends meant a lot to him and he loved spending time with them. He also loved to travel and play golf.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Sheri Crawford of Van Nuys, CA; his son, Michael Crawford of Naples, FL; five grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and his companion, Bonnie Chisholm. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Crawford (2001) and his daughter, Pamela Roberts (2009).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 12:00pm at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary.
