My sincere condolences to your family. I just found out today about his passing. I was privileged to work with David while I was working as a legal secretary for Yuba County. I remember him as being very kind and friendly to all the staff.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. He was blessed by a beautiful family that loved him very much. My prayers go out to the Dolenar Family.

David was a true role model for all public sector risk managers.  His enthusiasm and passion for his work was contagious.  And he knew how to have fun at work, too.  I will always remember his "leadership" teaching his CSAC-EIA colleagues how to do the "Macarena" on the beach in Little River....he is now dancing his way to the stars...

I was blessed to have had the opportunity to work with David.  His dedication to his work was admirable.  May he rest in peace.

It was such a pleasure to have known and worked with David.  He was a true gentleman and will not be forgotten.

I had the great pleasure of working with and learning from David for several years. His knowledge of risk management, calm demeanor, and humor were an asset to the committees he served on for CSAC EIA. He was personable and enjoyed hearing about how my family was doing as well as sharing about his. I was sad when he retired and am even more sad he has passed away. I'm glad he got to spend time with his family and know he is in a better place. David and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I had known David for as long as I was involved with CSAC EIA, as he was part of the interview panel who hired me. During our careers we worked closely together on various committees, and shared a friendship among work colleagues. I was sorry when he retired, and very sad to learn of his passing. Rest in Peace, David.

I am very saddened to learn about David's passing.  I worked with him for many years in Stanislaus County, and respected him greatly.  He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
