I may have been one of the last to see him.  I went to a dental office he sometimes worked at in Woodland Hills on March 14th for a temporary crown and ordered a new permanent crown.  He'd been my dentist for decades and my friend since 1976.  We often discussed and shared bottles of wine together (some even in his office and at my house in Granada Hills) and discuss everything under the sun.  He was an extremely bright guy.  When I last saw him, he was sometimes hyperventilating which he said was due to anxiety and he was taking medication for it.  Little did I suspect that he would be gone 3 weeks later. It had been a while since I went for dental care, but I saw Dr. David Moody for 15 years. When I need to see someone I will need to find someone else, but he is irreplaceable. I was referred to him by a life long friend who passed away in 2005. So may they both rest in peace and will always be missed! 

Our hearts are broken at the loss of our dear dentist and friend.  He always made himself available in an emergency situation and was very giving of both his heart and knowledge.  We will truly miss our discussions of the Bible, being a good Christian, traveling and looking forward to retirement and the future.

I know God is watching over him, because I have asked him to.

Dr. Moody, you will truly be missed.
