Delia, 
Tu partida  ha dejado  nuestros corazones con mucho dolor y tristeza.  Pero nosotros siempre te recordaremos llena de alegría y siempre con tu sonrisa contagiosa como la mujer que eras. Se te va extrañar mucho. 

Nuestros condolencias a su familia especialmente a sus hijos.  Que Dios los llene de fortaleza y les de fuerzas para superar su pérdida.  Un abrazo fuerte.

We’re so happy you were able to attend our wedding Tia. I remember this moment just after I said “I Do” and y’all were trying to help bustle my dress. Thank you for always making it to important milestones and celebrations. Your presence was always welcomed and I loved how you were always the first and last person to dance. My heartfelt condolences to the Roman family. Mama Roman always lit the room with her presence and never failed to have a great time. My family and I will always remember your joyful personality and love you had for your children. Always so proud of their accomplishments. My last memory of you, at this celebration of my nephew Xavier’s baptism and first birthday 07/31/2021. You and mi papi, your brother, wanted to take a picture in front of the Virgin Mary outside the church. Mi papi has loved you so much since I could remember. Anything you needed he was there asap. If I/we were with you, he had no doubts, fears, he trusted you 100%. He loved being your brother and having you as a sister. You kept him walking a narrow line, as narrow as possible let’s be real tia hahaha, but you were an amazing sister. He said how great of a mother and wife you were. You loved us like your own and papi loves Yvette, Selene, Sally and Roman like his own too, mis primos hermanos por vida. ILSM 🤍

Aun recuerdo tu hospitalidad conmigo y mi familia,te fuiste dejando risas y alegrias muy gravadas en mi ♥️  y mis recuerdos.
Nunca pense, que te podrias ir de esta manera, ya que ni fotografias tengo contigo,pasar tiempo contigo hermana y tu bella familia era pasar tiempo de calidad ,ya que hasta las fotografias se 
nos olvidaban.
My convivencia contigo y tu familia ha sido corta porqe siempre he vivido en 🇲🇽 pero el año pasado tube la oportunidad de convivir varias ocasiones contigo.
Hermana fui muy feliz contigo,el verano pasado estube en la piscina toda la tarde y noche conviviendo,  te soy sincera  ,ami no me gusta mucho estar en la piscina, pero contigo las horas fueron muy cortas.
Fue divertidisimo que bromeabamos con mi esposo y lo hizieramos enojar toda la tarde.

Tia todavía no puedo creer que nos dejaste muy temprano, pero nos dejaste con muchas feliz memorias que siempre estarán conmigo. Siempre me gustaba convivir con tu presencia porque nunca faltaban rizas y comido Thai. Siempre pienso en la última fiesta que estábamos juntos cuando me hiciste bailar contigo antes de irme y esto muy agradecido que lo hiciste. Siempre pensaré en usted y voy a vivir con la alegría que nos enseñaste. Que descanse en paz y nos vemos en el futuro. 

Although I cannot even begin to imagine the feeling of loss that Delia's closest are going through, I do, however, feel so lucky to have had shared times and memories with her--now more than ever. From sushi dates, picnics, Super Bowl parties, or simply just hanging out in her presence, Delia was exactly that: a presence. She had an energy and persona that you could not help but be happy around. The mutual love between her and her family, and observing their pure enjoyment of just being around one another is a feeling that will always stay with me--a constant reminder of the power of family. Delia, you will be missed!

Cuando me acuerdo de usted, escuchó su risa y veo el amor que le tenia a la vida. Ninguna cantidad de años hubieran sido suficientes, pero usted vivió los que tuvo como si cada uno fuera el ultimo. Gracias por haberme regalado a mi mejor amiga. Intentaré crear muchos más recuerdos con ella, y usted estará con nosotras en cada uno de ellos. No se preocupe, que yo se la cuidaré. Su risa se volverá la de ella y su amor a la vida continuará en el corazón de cada uno de sus hijos. La queremos, la extrañamos, pero aquí seguiremos luchando - como usted nos enseñó.

Tia querida, como se puede escribir todo lo que fuistes para mi? Desde niña cómo me encantaba ir a Hollywood a pasar el tiempo con usted, tío José, Yvette, Selene, Sally y Roman. Cada vez qué e pasado por Hollywood las memorias se vienen como la lluvia durante la primavera. Todavía puedo oír tu voz “cmon Erikita”  or “no pos wow Erikita very good”. Scott todavía se acuerda la primera vez que lo conociste y le dijisteis  que me cuidara y que si me quebrar el corazón “Me las vas a pagar!!” Mi tía, tan fuerte y protegiendo su familia. 

Yo se que luchaste mucho para mejorarte y también estuvisteis cansada. Gracias por ser una tía, mamá, esposa, hermana y amiga tan maravillosa, llena de amor, alegría, protección y risa. Te voy a tener en mis pensamientos y corazón hasta la muerte.  Te veo en mis sueños y no faltes de mandarme mensajes. Te amo tía, I love you so much.

Mom, I miss you so much. Every time I turn, I think I see you from the corner of my eye and I wish so much that it’s really you. Laughing, crying, spending time together. You’ve been with me to help me through some of the toughest moments of my life, and you’ve been with me to celebrate the good ones too. While it hurts so much to know I won’t be able to go through the rest of my life with you, it’s a big relief to know you are at peace and not in pain. You fought so hard and you loved so much, I hope you felt the immense love I have for you. Your memory is forever engraved in my heart and soul. You are strong, brave, and beautiful and I hope to be as strong, brave and beautiful as you. I love you Mother.

Since I was a kid you always showed me and my family kindness, compassion, love, and appreciation.

You celebrated life like it was meant to be celebrated, with gusto and humor.

a woman who was and will be a very special person for all those around her.
She was a woman, mother, friend, aunt, she with her sympathy has left a space on earth that is difficult to match, a woman made an angel who shows us with love, joy and optimism the best she had around her heart

Delia was always so full of life and jokes!
Being in her presence was always joyful as she’d make everyone laugh. I feel so lucky to have seen her love her children and pets. The amount of love she had towards them was evident and I’m so happy I had the opportunity to witness it. 

I still can't believe you left too soon.  God needed you to be with him and I know in my heart he no longer wanted you to suffer.  You had an amazing personality.  All my memories I had with you have been great.  I always recall you smiling and your infectious  laugh, which you just never forget.  I enjoy your jokes and stories Tia even your crazy ways hehe.  You had amazing things to say about your children and you were an amazing mother, wife, sister, and aunt.  God has a beautiful angel with him and I know you are at peace.  You are no longer in pain and looking down from above.  Just know that you are very much loved.  Love you tia!

Nuestro Dios nos separo temporalmente y mi corazón se partió en dos en el momento que nos dejaste, pero algún día volveremos estar juntos otra vez, te amare por siempre.
