Mrs. Caldwell was my favorite teacher. She taught me so much and i will never forget her. I hope she knew how important she was and how much she taught all her students. I still think of her all the time and would have loved to tell her these things in person.

Dear Bob and Family...Our sincere condolences on Dot's passing. Her warm smile and delightful laugh will always be fondly remembered. The fun we shared on the many Optimist trips, excursions and parties made some of the best memories, and the laughter and good times will never be forgotten. I am so saddened by the news of Dorothy's passing.  We taught together for years at Park View Middle School in Lancaster, CA.  She taught social studies and I taught math to Blue track 8th graders.  Appropriately, she was the staff Sunshine Chairperson for many years, and all of us benefitted from her sunny disposition, her caring and compassionate attitude, and her generous and accepting  nature.  She was a grand lady with a heart of pure gold!!  We used to have marvelous conversations after the last school bell, and during our first year at Park View, shared "office space" in an old storage room because we were roving teachers.  It was a shared source of humor between us for years.  What wonderful memories I will carry with me of this remarkable woman.  It was my great honor to know and work with Dorothy.  She will be missed but often thought of with affection and warmth.

Sir, we are so sorry to hear of Mrs C's passing.  What a wonderful lady, always smiling and such a positive attitude.  Our family was truly blessed to spend time with her both at the Altadena office as well as social gatherings.  She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
