Was so happy to join families when Garret and Amy tied the knot.
Gi Gi  was part of our new family and we enjoyed her presence 
at all the events we shared together.
We will always remember our Christmas Eve gatherings and Gi Gi
always wearing a festive hat!

Just thinking about Dot makes me smile.  I remember visiting her for advice when I was considering retirement.  Just as you’d expect her wisdom was to the point and no frills and she shared that she never regretted retiring because “you just need to be happy where you are.”

She was wise and playful and always seemed to know exactly who she was.   I will miss her mischievous smile and picking out her birthday card every January.   

When I search my heart, I have no sadness because I know that somewhere she is lighting up the room!

Mom was a huge Dodger fan! I have great memories of going to Dodger games with her. One of her favorite players was Yasiel Puig. Mom was a perfect example of a mother’s unconditional love. She was always there when I needed her and I know in my heart that is not going to change. I learned so much from my mom: The importance of always having a positive attitude, working hard, and playing harder, and most importantly, the power of forgiveness. I am so grateful to have her as my mom. I Love You Mom!

Mom, I have so many memories with you I really don’t know where to start. When you first moved in with Andi and I, we were at Don Gee Ct. Big pool, big deck where we did crossword puzzles for hours. You were so good at them. I was constantly asking you for a 6 letter word for something or other. You seemed to know most of the time. Amazing! And then there was Jaeger, our pup. I say “our pup” since you stole his heart. What a great combo. I remember how much fun we had playing Bingo in Simi every Thursday night. We did pretty good throughout the years. Then there were the Lottery Scratchers. I would bring you a couple every week. Never had a big win but I always thought it was a big win spending time with you. I miss you a lot and I know you are looking down us and keeping us in line. Thanks for all you did for us. Love, Mark.

Grandma Dot was known by many names- Dorothy, Dot, and later GG. One sweet memory is of her sitting and playing with our German Shepherd, Gigi— a beautiful moment shared by two very special GGs.

Mom, you taught me so many lessons in life when the bed is made and the dishes are done your house will look clean. lets go to the casino and I would be falling asleep on the machine and you would say what's the matter can't keep up with your mother also on our trip to Hawaii how much you liked Mai Tais . Thank you for being my mom rest easy you so deserve it  I Love You. Rae

Mom, you were an amazing woman. Independent,  strong, loving, full of life, and very generous to all that you loved.
Our lives are  filled with wonderful memories because of you! Every time I play bingo, I will be thinking of you!
