Esther Lorraine Errington

Esther Lorraine Errington, “Lorraine”, passed away at the age of 87 at her home in Lincoln, California on Friday, October 16, 2015. She was born in Compton, California, of John L. and Delpha Maud. She had one older brother, Jack, who preceded her in death. In her younger years she lived in the areas of Long Beach, Bellflower, and Westwood, California. In her high school years she worked as a mother’s helper much of the time. In 1948 she married her high school sweetheart Robert Virgil Errington “Bob”. They originally resided in Van Nuys, California, in the San Fernando Valley. They had three children there, Bob, Debbie, and Bonnie. Lorraine was a very loving, caring mother and wife who dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family. The family moved to the city of Chatsworth in 1959. She enjoyed her toy poodle pets over the course of many years. The family loved to go camping especially to Cedar Grove in Kings Canyon National Park and to Lake Shasta in the summertime. In 1979, Lorraine and Bob moved to Acton, California where they had a house built. After the death of her husband, Bob, in 1993 she moved to various locations in southern California, Arizona, and Idaho so she could be close to her daughter Bonnie. In her later years she lived with Bonnie. She is survived by her children Bob, Debbie, and Bonnie. The graveside service and interment will be held at Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall on Wednesday, October 20th at 2 p.m.
