Florina Vergel De Dios passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 81. Born in Marilao, Bulacan Province, Philippines, on July 15, 1945, her life took her to places such as Fiji and Samoa, before settling in California. She was one of five sisters. Her hobbies included the arts, gardening, nature and playing piano. Florina was a faithful wife, a loving mother to two and a proud grandmother to three. A generous and God-fearing woman, Florina was a loving soul, who made sure everyone was welcome in her home. Even during Christmas Season, she made sure everyone had a gift. Whether it was time spent in her garden or looking after her pet birds, Florina lived life to the fullest, and had a radiant, positive personality with a beautiful smile.
Though she is no longer with us, her presence lives on in our hearts and treasured memories. She is survived by her husband Dr. Jesus Vergel De Dios; her son Joseph and his wife Lourgelie; her son Jesus Jr. and his wife Glenda; her three grandchildren Sebastian, Lauren and Samantha; her sisters Querubin, Lelis and Larcy
A Celebration of Life will be held at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, 23287 North Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321, US, on August 15, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
