Within the EOP community and the Muniz family, all of us have lost a true legendary mentor in EOP that I will miss dearly. I will miss him coming to my social media page and showing his unwavering support for me.  In my heart, I will always remember how he would smile at me and always ready to open his office freely to chat with students/staff with a warm approach.  I had to do a Blues Project presentation once in one of his staff meetings and he introduced me as one of his "Star Students." I didn't know how to respond to that comment at the time.  In that very moment, I paused and thought in my mind. "Mr. Frank, you are one of my star staff!" Thank you for being one of EOP's role model staff members.  I am so fortunate to have you. May his beautiful heart and soul rest in paradise until we'll meet again.

Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs to Elva, Chayo, Frankie and all the Muniz family. Our hearts go out to all during this difficult time.  A great honor to have had the privilege in being a part of his Family. Frank will be missed but never forgotten!

You were a wonderful TRIO mentor , counselor to me .  I will never forget the time you saw me, say a speech  when I was a few weeks away from graduating high school in 2011 at Kennedy . And the memories I had at CSUN , with you  and all the help you have given me from the moment I stepped on CSUNs campus , till the moment I received my BA at CSUN .  Always will remember your guidance you gave me throughout the COVID pandemic to now . I wish I had one last time to say thank you for all you have done for me . Especially, your last piece of support you gave me which was your letter of recommendation for USC , and I know I can’t see you but I know you know , somehow that you helped me get admitted to the University of Southern California for my Masters in Education! Thank you for all you have done for me , I will keep making you proud  🙏 


Rest in Peace Mr Frank , I will remember you forever. My thoughts and prayers go to all of the Muniz Family !
