Gilbert Adolph Miramontes

His funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Higher Vision Church. The burial will follow at Eternal Valley Memorial Park & Mortuary.

Gilbert was born in Pacoima, CA to Reverend Adolfo and Annette Miramontes, from Primera Iglesia del Valle, on April 14, 1958. He graduated from San Fernando High School in 1976. He married Raquel Garcia Miramontes on July 28, 1990 in Arleta, CA. He worked his whole life as a Landscape Contractor first with his father, then at a landscaping nursery, and finally at his own landscaping business named Professional Landscape Care. Furthermore, he served his whole life in ministry where he played many instruments including the piano and organ. He used his musical talents to worship the Lord alongside his wife and children.

Gilbert is survived by his wife, Raquel Miramontes, and mother Annette Miramontes, his 5 children, Mindy, Gilbert Jr, Raquel, Rosemarie, Rochelle and their spouses, Henry, Denise, Adam, and Alan. He is also survived by his brothers Kenny and Daniel, and sisters Annette, Ruth, and Petra. Lastly, Gilbert is survived by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and the countless individuals his life touched.

Pallbearers will be daughter Raquel Miramontes Lopez, son Gilbert Jr Miramontes, sister Ruth Miramontes, brothers Kenny and Daniel Miramontes, son in laws Adam Lopez and Alan Guzman, and esteemed nephew Gervin Estrada.
