Hans and I were both missionaries in Norway at the same time. We were never companions but we were in the same district for a time. I remember tracting with him on more than one occasion. He was the big Norwegian American from California with the powder-blue suit. He was a dedicated missionary with a quick laugh. In later years we talked on fb from time to time. I was impress with his desire to be Santa Cause.  I will remember him with a big smile.

Hans, I tried to send the Second out did not work. I wil miss you thank you for seeing me in 2014. I have known you for a long time. But, I really did not get to know anyone until recently.Watch over all of us. Now you will be able to meet those that you have been looking up all these years. 
    There is a lot to say, but, I do not want to mess it up agian.

Even today, weeks later, I saw something I wanted to share with you to make you smile, since you made me smile so often. I miss you. I'm grateful you are out of pain and with your true love, but you brought so much brightness to this dismal world that I'm sad it lost you. Be at peace. Know you are loved.

My dear Hans - you are so loved and missed! You will always be one of the greats in my heart. You and Rozzie and I bonded the first day we met, so many, many years ago, and thoughts of both of you fill my heart every day. I want so much to just go back in time to when we could talk and laugh and enjoy each other's company. I'll never forget the day, just a couple of months ago, when you said you and I are Facebook Intellectual Twins. Good fun, great memories. My heart is broken, but you and Rozzie are together again and that counts for a lot. Thank you for raising such wonderful children - you did well, and I love them so much, too. Kristel, Heather, and Peter will always be in my heart! Rest in peace, my wonderful friend.

What a great person Hans was. We were in Norway together but never companions. I have over the years often thought about Hans and how he could put everyone at awe with his music. Rest in peace my friend. God speed Hans Hansen!

Oh, Hans, we had some the most intellectual, delightful, and enjoyable conversations I've ever had with anyone, anywhere.  Despite that, I am glad that all that dialysis monkey business is over and that you are back with Roz, SUCH a wonderful and warm woman.  Shout outs come to both of you!  Incidentally, I've been planning to take either piano or guitar lessons; perhaps I shall amaze you in person in the sweet bye-and-bye.

I lived with Hans. I got to know him. He was a blessing in my life. What a wonderful man and what a great example for the rest of us. Our prayers are with you, Peter, Kristel and Heather.

What a great man ... I will miss him !  I would make him play "Moonlight Sonata" over and over again when we were missionary companions in Norway back in 1968... Always a gentleman and one to calm and sooth another in their time of need... I wish I could have gotten to know him better after our Missions ... RIP

You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I miss you everyday, but I will always remember you as the greatest dad ever. Thank you for teaching me to be a man and how to be a good person.  I will miss not having you here to keep me laughing and smiling with your cheesy dad jokes and your sense of humor.  I love you Dad.
