Helen Kotis Ferguson was born on March 10, 1932 in Alabama to James Constantine Kotis and Jessie Lafetus Phillips. She was very well loved by all who were fortunate enough to have cross paths with her. She lived an amazing life, spreading joy to all of her family and friends. Helen had patience in abundance, which fit perfectly into her career as a registered nurse for over 40 years. She gave each of her patients all of the love and care that she could give, and she truly loved what she did. Helen passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in Simi Valley, California. Her smile, laugh, and compassionate nature will truly live on through those whose lives she touched. She will never be forgotten.
