She has been a member of the Santa Clarita Valley community for 15 years, as well as a member of Santa Clarita’s, Grace Baptist Church. She received her AA degree from Pasadena City College and worked for the medical offices of Arcadia Methodist Hospital until she retired. She was a most loving, wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and co-worker. She set a wonderful example for others to follow and never complained about her own situation.
Ida is survived by: her sons, Bradley McMartin and John C. McMartin, her daughter, Janice A. Lackey, daughter-in-law, Margo McMartin, her grandsons, Bradley, Blake, and Beau McMartin of Santa Clarita, and grandchildren Corey, Tracy, Katy, and Molly of Etascadero. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill McMartin, of Gardnerville, Nevada.
Ida’s Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 13th, 2:00 pm, at Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall. The Family requests that any memorial gifts to please be sent to Grace Baptist Church.
