

Iheanacho Mbuko, affectionately known as Obioma or Obi, passed away on November 22, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with a brain tumor. He was a cherished son, devoted father, and loving brother whose presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him.
Obioma was born in Nigeria and immigrated to the United States in 1993. He pursued higher education with determination, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
A gifted Cyber Engineer, Obioma contributed his talents to several industries, including dedicated service within the federal government. His career took him through Orange County, California; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Dayton, Ohio; Huntsville, Alabama; and Washington, D.C.
Obioma proudly served his adopted nation in the United States Air Force, where he was honorably discharged in 2007.
A man of deep faith, Obioma loved the Lord and served faithfully in his local church. He remained steadfast in his Christian Walk until his final days, leaving behind a legacy of devotion, humility, and grace.
Obioma is survived by his loving mother, his three beautiful daughters, his brother, and his two sisters. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
