Ivan was a man who always left a lasting impression.  Very opinionated,  but very caring.   I met Ivan and Joan in 2002 when they hired me st their company.   Ivan had such a wealth of knowledge and incredible stories,  from his military experience,  from his Hollywood parties,  and from his innovative inventions.   I could sit and listen to him often.   Probably the highlight was when they took me to MAPPS and introduced me to all of their colleagues.   To ses this group of aerial photography innovators/ survivors interact,  telling stories and asking for advice was invaluable and exciting.   And then I remember joining them at church and singing alongside Ivan.  We'd went the best dinners but I am Jesus was pleased.    I do miss him.


I just found out of Ivan's passing this morning and was very much saddened. Ivan was a great guy, very much an innovator and certainly a loss to all who knew him.
