

Funeral services will be held on July 15, 2024 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park and Mortuary in Oaks Chapel with the Terry Neven, officiating.
The viewing is scheduled for 9:00am, with mortuary services at 10:00am and gravesite service at 11:00am.
Jack was born in Manhattan, NY to Murray and Anna on March 19, 1931. He went to school in New York and married Irene on July 2, 1963, in Las Vegas, NV. He graduated from CCNY with a bachelor’s degree and USC with a master’s degree. He worked as a chemical engineer for Rocketdyne and Air Research for 9 years on special research projects for the chlorate candle, potable water for the astronauts, cryogenic systems and nuclear engineering. He then worked as a Senior Air Quality Engineer for the AQMD for 23 years where he was responsible for instrumentation and the mobile testing lab. He was a veteran of the U.S Army, serving as a Corporal Specialist 3 under electronics of anti-aircraft weapons. He was president of the Instrumentation Society of America and belonged to social groups for his hobbies of skiing, swimming, fishing and bridge.
Jack is preceded in death by his wife Irene, brother Theodore and his parents Murray and Anna.
Jack is survived by his daughters Judy and Jacqueline and his grandchildren Bill, Stacie, Daniel and Jessica and great grandchildren Tristan and Arabella.
