Jacques is survived by his wife of 64 years, Gerry; his children, Dennis (Barbara) and Brigitte (Paul); four grandchildren, Jacqueline, Chris, Cole, and Danielle; two great-grandchildren, Soren and James; and five siblings, Lise, Claudette, Denise, Peter, and Robert.
Jacques moved his family from Montreal to California in 1968 for a job opportunity that meant only seeing snow when he wanted to ski.
He created a company focused on providing steel rule dies and molds for product packaging.
He enjoyed camping, skiing, reading, fishing, and making things in his shop.
He was a great conversationalist and storyteller who loved joking and laughing with family and friends.
