It's been almost a year and I will always think of you as one of the best friends I ever had; the ONLY big brother I ever had and one of the nicest people I ever met. I wish I could tell you every time I hit a jackpot or win a Black Jack Tournament; I will say this--I have changed the words to the Collective Soul song "Heaven Let Your Light Shine Down" to "Kevin Let Your Light Shine Down" & every time I hear that song, I win a Black Jack Tournament! I used to call and tell you when I would win, but now I truly believe you have a hand in it! Thanks!

I am so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing. My prayers and heart go out to all of the family. It has been years since I have seen most of the family, but I miss and think about them all the time. Kevin, I know you are in Heaven and look forward to seeing you again someday. Love, your cousin Gene.

Hey Uncle Kevin Im going to miss you very much! Things are so different without you. You were there for me a lot as I was growing up and you might not have always had the answers I was looking for but you did try. I know that my kids were always doing something or following you around the yard but it was because they wanted to feel like such big boys, especially Nicholas. You will be missed in our hearts so very much. Just please keep shining down on us and keep all of safe. Love you for ever Wendi Lynn, Nicholas, Collin and Joe

Kevin,
I know that things don't always work as expected but that we are blessed with the memories of those that did...
Nobody will ever know the very precious and happy moments we shared during our over 18 years of marriage, nor will they ever know the very personal and private relationship we shared during the 10 years after..
I will always have a place in my heart, my mind and my soul for you..
Rest in peace forever,
Love Karen

Kevin was my step-father, he came into my life when I was about 5, he came to be my family when I was 7. The last 10 years we became very close, closer then ever before. He was a very loving father and grandfather to me and my 2 children, Brian and Kayla. We always talked at least once a week, when it came to birthdays and holidays, even the simplist of holidays, like Valentines Day, my daughter and I could always count on a card and a box of chocolates. Kayla had her Papa wrapped around her little finger! He would drop everything to help any of us if needed. It breaks my heart that I'll never be able to pick up the phone and give him a call or look into his bright blue eyes while we talked. He will forever be in my heart and never be forgotton! The only thing that makes me okay with this, is that I know he is with our Lord and Saviour, and is no longer in pain. I'll miss you always Dad!!!
