

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Monday July 22nd 2019, at Eternal Valley Memorial Park with Father Norm officiating.
Jack was born in Chicago, Illinois to James F. Quinn and Marguerite Catherine Smith on February 24th, 1928. He went to school in Grade and high school in St. Joseph, Missouri. Jack and Cecilia were married on August 11th, 1950 in St. Joseph Missouri. Jack graduated with an engineering degree with honors from UCLA in 1958. He worked as an Aerospace Engineer for the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 41 years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and served in the Marines and was awarded rank of Sergeant. He was involved in many local clubs, Friendly Valley City of Hope Chapter, Lawn Bowling club president, Scouts, Theatre, Genealogy, and countless other organizations. He received many awards and honors during his illustrious career.
Jack was preceded in death by his Mother Marguerite Quinn, Father James F. Quinn, daughters Mary Ann Quinn and Connie Jean Quinn.
Jack is survived by his wife of 69 years Cecilia Quinn, daughter Catherine Quinn and son James P. Quinn. Twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Eternal Valley Memorial Park and any donations to the City of Hope.
The family of Jack Quinn wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all his doctors, nurses, and caregivers who looked after him over the years. And a special thanks to all his friends who worked along side him in many Friendly Valley Functions.
